How did I miss this? NASCAR bought Panoz in 2012 and picked up Road Atlanta as part of the deal.

Yep. It's used quite often for road course testing by NASCAR teams.

Got me a free weekend pass to the second-to-last Petit Le Mans, actually. :D I was 17 at the time, and under ALMS rules I was allowed to volunteer, so I got my pass to do that... Then NASCAR came along and made it so that I was a year too young to do anything, but my pass was still perfectly valid.

NASCAR has done exactly one good thing in my world. :D
